Tokyo Tower is set to glow blue on June 11 (Thursday), June 14 (Sunday), June 21 (Sunday), and June 25 (Thursday) in honor of SAMURAI BLUE, Japan's national soccer team. The initiative is carried out with the cooperation of TOKYO TOWER, transforming one of Japan's most iconic skyline landmarks into a symbol of nationwide support for the team's World Cup campaign.

The Japan Football Association has declared in its "JFA Promise 2050" that it aims to host the FIFA World Cup by 2050 and have Japan's national team win the tournament. In pursuit of that goal, SAMURAI BLUE is competing on the world stage in search of the greatest view possible.
The phrase "最高の景色" (the greatest view) refers not only to the literal view from the top of the world, but also to the image of people across Japan celebrating together with smiles and joy. That shared vision is expressed as "OUR GREATEST STAGE" — a dream held not just by the team, but by everyone involved in Japanese soccer.
