Tokyu Resorts & Stay Co., Ltd. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Toshiyasu Awatsuji) has launched large-scale restaurant renovations at three ski resorts this season: Niseko Tokyu Gran Hirafu (Hokkaido), Hunter Mountain Shiobara (Tochigi), and Tambara Ski Park (Gunma). The upgrades introduce new services and significantly expanded dining options.
Tambara's "ON&OFF" restaurant has undergone its first complete renovation in 11 years, expanding to 535 seats. Hunter Mountain has refreshed two restaurants in its center house with "Hunter Color" theming, adding 106 seats and introducing premium services. At Gran Hirafu, two new restaurants have opened: the 240-seat brewery restaurant "POWDERHOOD RESTAURANT & TAPROOM" and the 380-seat scenic restaurant "NEST813" with panoramic views. Existing restaurants have also enhanced their menus and services to deliver dining experiences that surpass typical slope-side fare.
Cross-Resort Restaurant Renovations at Three Tokyu Resorts & Stay Snow Resorts
Tokyu Resorts & Stay views "food as the core of the guest experience" and has undertaken cross-resort restaurant renovations at three ski facilities. The improvements focus on utilizing local ingredients, offering space options for different occasions, and dramatically increasing seating capacity to achieve both "stress-free comfort" and "excitement."
At Hunter Mountain Shiobara, stylish interior renovations have been completed alongside the launch of "Hunter Mountain Premium Series" for enhanced slope experiences. Tambara Ski Park's first major renovation in 11 years has created spaces more suitable for groups and families. Niseko Tokyu Gran Hirafu offers diverse menu lineups in luxury spaces overlooking grand panoramas, positioning "food" as a highlight of the stay equal to skiing.
Tambara Ski Park: First Major Restaurant Renovation in 11 Years
Floor Space Doubled, Expanded to 535 Seats, with Web Reservations to Reduce Seating Wait Stress
Restaurant "ON&OFF" has undergone its first complete renovation since 2014. The floor space has expanded to approximately 790 square meters (about double), and seating has increased from 290 to 535 seats. Previously, on weekends and holidays, seat shortages meant some guests couldn't ski because they needed to save seats, while others rushed through meals to free up tables. The introduction of a reservation service allows guests to enjoy lunch and breaks at their preferred times without worrying about crowding.
"Raised Tatami Seating" Debuts for Families with Small Children
"ON&OFF" is accessible without using lifts and is conveniently located near the Kids Park. The renovation includes new "raised tatami seating" perfect for families with small children. These all-day reserved special seats allow guests to remove shoes and relax, and can be reserved online. Counter seating has also been installed for those waiting for family members, allowing guests to choose seating based on their needs for a more comfortable and enjoyable snow resort experience.

Niseko Tokyu Gran Hirafu: Two New Restaurants and Three Existing Restaurant Renewals
Two new restaurants have opened, and three existing restaurants have renewed their menus. Each restaurant showcases diverse menu lineups highlighting Hokkaido ingredients. The five facilities offer a combined total of over 1,400 seats, addressing the long-standing issue of restaurant crowding. The newly opened "POWDERHOOD RESTAURANT & TAPROOM" at ALPEN NODE at the base is available until 11:00 PM for nighttime dining. "NEST813," newly established on the second floor of the Ace Gondola summit station, offers premium menu options and spectacular views of Mount Yotei, delivering an elevated dining experience.
