Park Hyatt Niseko HANAZONO, set against the sweeping landscape of Mt. Yotei and Niseko Annupuri in Niseko, is presenting a lineup of summer 2026 experiences centered on nature, dining, and outdoor activities. Visitors can choose from gourmet barbecue evenings on the terrace, hands-on cooking classes for children, an immersive light art installation in the mountains, and a range of river and mountain activities.
Terrace BBQ Dinner
The restaurant The Lounge is hosting outdoor terrace barbecue dinners through September 30, 2026. Guests dine on the terrace with views of Mt. Yotei, with a self-service barbecue featuring carefully selected Hokkaido ingredients.

Kids Cooking Class
Kids cooking classes are available from June through the end of October. Under the guidance of skilled hotel chefs, children can learn to make dim sum, pizza, and ice cream parfaits. The classes are open to local children who are not staying at the hotel.

Mountain Lights
Starting July 1, the immersive light art installation Mountain Lights returns to the summer slopes of HANAZONO. Created by British artist Bruce Munro, the installation transforms the mountain landscape as night falls, with a quiet atmospheric glow spreading across the hillside. Guests can walk through the illuminated slopes and take in the clear Niseko night air.

Summer Activities
In partnership with the neighboring NISEKO HANAZONO Resort, guests have access to a range of outdoor activities including canyoning, ducky rides, and rafting on the Shiribetsu River, as well as tree trekking and a summer gondola. Fed by abundant snowmelt from the winter season, the Shiribetsu River remains refreshingly cool throughout the summer.
For a more relaxed afternoon, an afternoon tea on the water is available. Guests board donut-shaped inflatables and enjoy Pierre Hermé Paris sweets with juice or coffee.
