The Showa retro boom has fueled growing popularity for old-fashioned Japanese coffee shops (kissaten), and the firm pudding associated with that era has become a long-running trend. According to customer feedback, two out of every three buyers say they were drawn to purchase the product because of its name.*

Enhanced egg flavor — even more delicious

In response to customer requests for a stronger egg taste — comments like "I wish it had more egg flavor" and "I'd pay a little more for more egg richness" — the recipe has been updated with a 2% increase in egg ingredient content compared to the previous version.** Additives have been kept to a minimum*** as well.
