ATELIER MATCHA, a premium matcha cafe run in partnership with Yamamasa Koyamaen, a long-established tea wholesaler in Uji, Kyoto that has been in business since the Edo period, will launch its autumn/winter menu at its Ginza and Kamakura locations on October 16, 2026 (Friday).
This season's main theme is "MATCHA meets COFFEE." The lineup features coffee drinks made with a dark roast from Ogawa Coffee in Kyoto, selected to pair with premium Uji matcha. The rich body and deep flavor unique to a dark roast bring out the full umami and aroma of the matcha.
Alongside MATCHA Coffee Cloud, the drink that represents the season's theme, the menu includes the autumn-limited Mont Blanc MATCHA Latte. The Ginza location also offers MATCHA Yuzu Gorgonzola and Freshly Baked MATCHA Croffle, while the Kamakura location serves Burnt Mitarashi MATCHA Latte and MOCHI Stick Apple Cinnamon.
As a matcha specialty shop, ATELIER MATCHA invites guests to try new pairings of matcha and coffee with the tastes and fruits of autumn.
Main Theme: MATCHA Coffee Cloud

MATCHA Coffee Cloud – ¥950 at Ginza / ¥800 at Kamakura (tax included)
This flagship drink embodies the season's "MATCHA meets COFFEE" theme. A dark roast from Ogawa Coffee, a Kyoto coffee roaster loved for more than 70 years, is topped generously with smooth matcha foam made with Uji matcha from Yamamasa Koyamaen, a long-established Uji tea shop.
The first sip offers the refined richness and pleasant bitterness of the dark roast coffee. As you keep drinking, the mellow umami and rich aroma of the matcha foam come through. The two-layer look, with deep coffee brown and vivid matcha green, is also a highlight.
It is a pairing of Yamamasa Koyamaen's premium matcha and the rich dark roast from Ogawa Coffee.
Kyoto-Style Coffee and Kyoto-Style Cafe Latte

- Ginza: Kyoto-Style Coffee ¥750 / Kyoto-Style Cafe Latte ¥850
- Kamakura: Kyoto-Style Coffee ¥620 / Kyoto-Style Cafe Latte ¥700
- All prices include tax
Both drinks use a dark roast based mainly on high-quality Brazilian beans, selected to pair with premium matcha and matcha sweets. The Kyoto-Style Coffee has a deep, rich flavor and slight bitterness that bring out the full umami of matcha, while the Kyoto-Style Cafe Latte adds the mellowness of milk to the dark roast coffee.

Autumn Special: Mont Blanc MATCHA Latte

Mont Blanc MATCHA Latte – ¥1,200 at Ginza / ¥950 at Kamakura (tax included)
This autumn-limited dessert latte lets you enjoy chestnut, a taste of the season, and premium Uji matcha at once. Whipped cream tops a beautiful layer of milk and matcha, and rich Mont Blanc cream is piped generously over it. A glossy chestnut on top gives the drink an autumn look.
The bitterness of Uji matcha melds with the gentle sweetness of chestnut for a rich flavor that suits the season.
Ginza Special: MATCHA Yuzu Gorgonzola

MATCHA Yuzu Gorgonzola – ¥1,200 (tax included), Ginza only
MATCHA Gorgonzola, a popular "feast" matcha drink from the shop's opening days that many guests had asked to bring back, returns in an upgraded version with yuzu, a winter fruit.
A rich milkshake made with gorgonzola blue cheese ice cream, popular for its distinctive richness and flavor, is combined with sweet red bean paste (anko), yuzu jam, and yuzu peel for a new-style matcha treat. The refreshing aroma of yuzu and the gentle sweetness of the anko are added to the gorgonzola's deep richness. Matcha cookies scattered on top add a toasty note and matcha flavor as an accent.
A rich matcha sauce is served on the side. Add it as you go to enjoy how the flavor changes as matcha, cheese, and yuzu layer together.
Freshly Baked MATCHA Croffle

Freshly Baked MATCHA Croffle – ¥1,100 (tax included), Ginza only
A croffle made from croissant dough baked until fragrant is served with matcha gelato, anko, and MATCHA whipped cream. The warm croffle, crispy outside and chewy inside, contrasts with the cold matcha gelato. Pour over the rich matcha sauce served on the side before eating.
The Ginza location also serves it during morning hours from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Pair it with a Kyoto-Style Coffee for a fresh matcha experience to start the day.
Kamakura Special: Burnt Mitarashi MATCHA Latte

Burnt Mitarashi MATCHA Latte – ¥950 (tax included), Kamakura only
A MATCHA latte of milk layered with Uji matcha is topped with fragrant mitarashi sauce, whipped cream, and mini dango. The sweet and salty mitarashi sauce from Nishiura Shoten in Kyoto pairs perfectly with the bitterness of Uji matcha. Finished with black sesame seeds, it is a dessert latte with Japanese flavors.
Kamakura Special: MOCHI Stick Apple Cinnamon

MOCHI Stick Apple Cinnamon – ¥780 (tax included), Kamakura only
This is the autumn-limited flavor of the MOCHI Stick, a new-style dango sweet exclusive to the Kamakura location that comes in a cup so you can carry it around. Chewy dango is layered with apple pieces, smooth custard cream, and the aroma of cinnamon.
The refreshing sweetness of apple and the warm aroma of cinnamon make it a good match for an autumn stroll in Kamakura. At the Kamakura location, order your favorite drink together with a MOCHI Stick and get ¥100 off the set price.
