The rooftop BBQ restaurant URBAN EARTH BBQ, located atop Takasaki Monterey in Gunma Prefecture — directly connected to Takasaki Station — is reopening on Thursday, April 9, 2026. For this season, the venue has renewed its menu and expanded its seating capacity for a more comfortable outdoor dining experience with open views over the city of Takasaki.
The concept behind URBAN EARTH BBQ is an "urban outdoor space." From the open rooftop setting, guests can take in sweeping views of the Takasaki cityscape while enjoying a hands-free BBQ with a carefully curated menu and a wide variety of all-you-can-drink beverages.

This season brings an upgraded lineup of both food and drinks, raising the overall level of satisfaction. The venue is designed for easy, equipment-free visits — guests need not bring anything — and the direct access from Takasaki Station makes it a convenient stop whether coming from work on a weekday or heading out with friends or family on a weekend. A tent is on hand for rainy days, and there are hammocks and lounge areas for relaxing between courses.
