A Journey Down the Kuromi Road! Special Messages from Kuromi to Fans!
Universal Studios Japan celebrates its 25th anniversary on March 31, 2026. In gratitude for a quarter-century of support, the park will deliver a year filled with extraordinary experiences that help guests discover unexpected sides of themselves from March 4, 2026 to March 30, 2027*, under the 25th anniversary theme "Discover U!!!" (Discover You).
To commemorate this anniversary milestone, a sequential short drama series starring Sanrio's popular character Kuromi has been announced. Today, February 20, 2026, Universal Studios Japan's official social media channels premiered episode 1! Additional episodes will be released sequentially. This series depicts Kuromi and her band "BLACK DREAMS BLOOM" confronting themselves and embracing new challenges as they prepare for the street show Kuromi Live ~Discover Me Discover U!!!~ launching March 27, 2026.
This release unveils the series synopsis for the first time, along with a message from Kuromi to her fans, and merchandise information themed around the world of Kuromi Live ~Discover Me Discover U!!!~. The sequential short drama brings to life the 25th anniversary theme "Discover U!!!" - encountering versions of yourself beyond imagination - through Kuromi and her companions.

Synopsis | A Story of Kuromi and Friends Discovering New Styles
For the new 25th anniversary version of their live performance, Kuromi's band "BLACK DREAMS BLOOM" refreshes its member lineup and takes on the challenge of creating a new style. While the assembled members excel in musical performance, each approaches dance, expression, and stage performance differently, carrying their own confidence and doubts as rehearsals begin... Unsatisfied with technical skill alone, Kuromi challenges each member to discover "versions of themselves they don't yet know" through playing while dancing, vocal expression, and audience-interactive performances. Through struggles, clashes, and confronting one another during difficult rehearsals, Kuromi herself must also face her own way of being. Through this preparation period for their new live show, Kuromi and her companions step toward becoming who they want to be!
"Alright! Let's discover our new style!" With these words, a new chapter in the "World Kuromi-fication Plan" begins.
