A three-day pop-up event, "WEGO 2026 SUMMER SPECIAL POPUP," is coming to THE PLUG in Harajuku from Friday, August 7 to Sunday, August 9, 2026. WEGO (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kyosuke Sonoda) is holding the event to celebrate REI — a member of the six-member South Korean group IVE, signed to STARSHIP ENTERTAINMENT — being named the face of its WEGO 2026 SUMMER visual campaign.

Experience the World of the WEGO 2026 SUMMER Visual at the POPUP

The pop-up features a range of content that lets visitors experience the world of the WEGO 2026 SUMMER visual.

The venue, decorated in a pink-and-white color scheme, is filled with photo spots that make visitors want to snap a picture. In addition to a photo booth and standing mirror, objects inspired by the WEGO 2026 SUMMER visual are placed throughout, creating a space where visitors can experience the campaign's world firsthand.

The venue will also sell items REI (IVE) wore in the WEGO 2026 SUMMER visual, along with other recommended pieces for the summer.

Visitors will also receive an original sticker inspired by the visual as a bonus, available only at this pop-up. (Note: while supplies last.)

Profile

IVE is a six-member group that debuted in South Korea in December 2021, consisting of Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo. The group's name, meaning "I HAVE = IVE," reflects a resolve to confidently show who they are and what they have, in IVE's own way.

IVE made their Japanese debut in October 2022 with their first single, "ELEVEN -Japanese ver.-." In February 2023, the group held its first solo fan concert in Japan, "IVE THE FIRST FAN CONCERT 'The Prom Queens' IN JAPAN," drawing 57,000 attendees. In September 2024, as part of the "IVE THE 1ST WORLD TOUR 'SHOW WHAT I HAVE'" spanning 28 cities in 19 countries, the group held its first-ever concert at Tokyo Dome.

In May 2026, IVE released their fourth Japanese EP, LUCID DREAM, which topped the Oricon Weekly Album Ranking dated June 8, 2026, marking the year's best first-week sales up to that point among overseas female artists. The EP's track "Fashion" was chosen as the campaign song for the App Store's "どんな一歩も、App Storeと。" campaign, while "JIGSAW" served as the theme song for the TV Tokyo Drama24 series "ストレンジ -伊藤潤二の夜も眠れぬ奇妙な話-." That April, the group held a two-day run of "IVE WORLD TOUR 'SHOW WHAT I AM' IN JAPAN" at Kyocera Dome Osaka, and in June the group returned to Tokyo Dome for its second performance there, drawing roughly 130,000 attendees across the three Japan tour dates.
