Y! hands Osaka," offering custom accessory-making experiences such as Italian charms. It now focuses on a new hands-on concept: sewing an original plush strap that's one of a kind.

About YASUMI LAB OSAKA
A store where guests can make their own original plush strap. Even first-timers at sewing are welcome, since staff provide careful support throughout. Once finished, the plush strap can be clipped to a bag or displayed at home, becoming a companion for everyday life.
Workshop Details
Guests choose their favorite fabric from a colorful lineup of pre-cut shapes such as rabbits, bears, and pigs. Following the pattern printed on the fabric, they stitch along the outline, then trim the edges neatly with scissors. Turning the piece right-side out gradually reveals an adorable animal shape. Guests stuff it with fluffy cotton to their preferred fullness, giving it a plump, cute form, and finally sew the opening closed to complete a plush strap that's the only one in the world. Adding optional clothing or facial parts allows for even more expressive arrangements.

I had always dreamed of one day opening a shop in the city where I was born and raised. In this town filled with so many memories, I wanted to create a place where locals and visitors alike could casually drop in and enjoy making something. That's what led me to open here.
Through this shop, I hope to give a little something back to the city that raised me, and to help fill it with even more smiles by bringing everyone their own moments of enjoyment and memories.
Sewing side by side with a good friend, then photographing the finished "companion" together — I believe these small, everyday moments add color to daily life. I hope that the reborn "YASUMI LAB OSAKA" will take root as a place of memories where people can spend a new kind of holiday in this town.
