Yokohama Natural Hot Spring SPA EAS Grand Opens on July 28, 2026, with Immersive Sauna and Evolved Wellness Spaces

Yokohama Natural Hot Spring SPA EAS is set to grand open on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, following a full-scale renovation. The two-floor facility covers approximately 3,000 square meters in Yokohama, featuring artesian natural hot spring baths drawn from underground sources.

Built around the new concept of "Wellness Quest — A Healing Journey That Takes You One Step Away from Everyday Life," the spa has been reimagined as a more refined and comfortable space. Natural hot spring baths and a variety of bath options remain, while new additions include a wide-screen immersive sauna and a bright, open rest area. The minimum age for entry is also being lowered from 18 to 16 years old, opening the facility to a wider range of guests.

Renovation Concept: Wellness Quest

The guiding theme for this renovation is "Wellness Quest — A healing journey that takes you one step away from everyday life, without going far away." Set within Yokohama, the space has been rebuilt with the goal of helping guests gently unwind mind and body, then return to daily life feeling refreshed.

New Immersive Sauna: SAUNA IMMERSIA

A brand-new sauna called "SAUNA IMMERSIA" is being introduced. Inspired by the word "Immersion," the sauna features a wide screen that fills the entire field of view and is open to all genders. Guests can enjoy a new kind of sauna experience — sweating slowly while surrounded by immersive visuals. The facility's popular heat wave (aufguss) events will also be enhanced with powerful visual production, creating an even stronger sense of shared atmosphere.

A spacious cool-down area has also been newly added beside the sauna, where guests can take a deep breath and enjoy a pleasant sense of cool air while gazing at the lush greenery surrounding the building.

New Lounge Area: VALO TERRACE

The lounge area has been completely redesigned into a more comfortable and inviting space for rest, reading, or light meals. Named "VALO" — the Finnish word for "light" — the space is defined by soft natural light filling a bright, open environment where guests can spend time at their own pace.

SPA EAS × ID UNITED ARROWS Collaboration Uniforms

To complement the renovated spaces, the in-facility uniforms are being renewed. The original design comes from "ID UNITED ARROWS," a uniform-focused label under United Arrows Ltd. The uniform design will be announced at a later date.

New Japanese Modern Dining: Miwane

In the dining area, a new Japanese modern restaurant "碧和音 (Miwane)" and its accompanying "碧和音Cafe" will open. Both are operated by B.Y.O. Inc. — a company behind restaurant brands including "和食・酒 えん," "おばんざい・炙り焼き・酒 菜な," and "おぼんdeごはん" — marking the brand's first entry into a bathing facility.

The restaurant centers on a set-meal style featuring a well-balanced selection of main and side dishes, ranging from gentle, nourishing food to hearty "sauna meals." Dining is available from lunch through dinner. The restaurant is also open to visitors who are not using SPA EAS.

Comprehensive Treatment & Body Care

The treatment area has been fully revamped with a wide variety of specialized menus, including body care, Thai wellness massage, aesthetic treatments, and body scrubs. Guests can choose the best option based on their condition and mood on the day. The space is designed with a strong focus on privacy.

Smart Entry System

An automated check-in and self-checkout system has been introduced, enabling smooth entry and payment from start to finish. Payment is fully cashless. All charges for food and treatments within the facility are consolidated on an IC key, so there is no need to carry a wallet inside.
