YOKU MOKU is set to launch "Double Cigare" (ドゥーブル シガール) at stores nationwide on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. The new gift tin brings together two classic cookies that have been fan favorites for years: the Cigare®, a buttery rolled wafer that has been sold since 1969, and the Cigare au Chocolat, which features a milk chocolate filling inside the same signature wafer. It marks the first time both cookies have been packaged together in a single tin.

The packaging design draws from the signature colors of each cookie — the cool blue associated with the Cigare® and the deep red of the Cigare au Chocolat — blending them in a soft gradient that evokes the quiet shift from dusk to night sky. Limited-Edition Soda at Blue Brick Lounge (Aoyama Flagship)
To mark the launch of Double Cigare, the "Blue Brick Lounge" at the YOKU MOKU Aoyama flagship store will offer a limited-edition "Double Berry Soda" from April 15 (Wednesday) through June 14 (Sunday), 2026. Inspired by the gradient design of the new tin, the drink features two layers: a refreshing cranberry and citrus soda base topped with blueberry and raspberry fruit pieces. The two layers can be mixed together for a sweet and tangy taste.

Launch Event at KITTE Marunouchi
A commemorative participatory event titled "YOKU MOKU's 'Cigare®': A Message Exhibition of Gentle Light" is scheduled at KITTE Marunouchi from March 25 (Wednesday) to March 29 (Sunday), 2026. The venue — built on the site of the former Tokyo Central Post Office, with the post office itself still operating inside — creates a unique setting where visitors can write and send a message all in one place.
At the event, visitors can write a message to someone they want to give a Double Cigare to on an original postcard. The message is then projected onto a large monitor at the venue, accompanied by a light display. Participants also receive a set of two cookies — one Cigare® and one Cigare au Chocolat. The event also features sales of the new Double Cigare and an exhibition of written works by an author.
