To mark one year since its opening, the Isuzu Chaya shop at Osaka Takashimaya is releasing a special limited-edition treat: the Strawberry Cornet with Wasan-Bon Cream (いちごコルネ和三盆クリーム), on sale from April 8 (Wednesday) through May 6 (Wednesday/holiday), 2026. The item is exclusive to the Osaka Takashimaya location and is available for a limited time only.
This anniversary cornet is filled with a cream made from strawberry purée and white bean paste, topped with a layer of wasan-bon cream and finished with a chocolate accent. The sweet-tart flavor of strawberry paired with the delicate sweetness of wasan-bon gives the pastry a distinctly springtime character.
Since the Osaka Takashimaya store opened, Isuzu Chaya's signature cornet has surpassed 150,000 units sold. This special edition builds on the appeal of that popular product to mark the store's first year.
The cornet is available for takeout or as a gift, and can also be enjoyed with a drink set in the in-store café.
