Indoor Petting Zoo AniTouch Makes Kansai Debut in Osaka's Namba This December

In December 2026, a new indoor petting zoo called AniTouch OSAKA Namba will open in Osaka. The facility, operated by Izu Shaboten Zoo Co., Ltd. (Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture; President: Kenji Kagoike), will occupy the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Namba 3-chome H Building at 3-8-22 Namba, Chuo-ku, Osaka.

This will be the brand's first store in the Kansai region. The location sits along Ebisubashi-suji, a shopping street with roughly 400 years of history dating back to the Edo period and known as one of the largest shopping streets in the world, just a one-minute walk from Namba Station on the Osaka Metro. Being an indoor facility, visitors can drop by regardless of the weather. The surrounding area sees heavy foot traffic and a notably high proportion of tourists, including visitors from overseas, so the store aims to offer people of any nationality or generation the chance to get close to the animals' endearing charm and warmth, and to experience the preciousness of life in a welcoming space.
