On September 9, 2026 (New York), Bulgari presented its first public art installation in the United States, transforming the High Line — an elevated park in New York — into an open-air stage where the brand's iconic Serpenti motif enters into dialogue with contemporary art. Created by Plastique Fantastique, a Berlin-based artist duo, the public art piece "auruBOROS – Urban Memory and Collective Dream" rises from New York's urban landscape and is on view on the High Line at Little West 12th Street from September 10 to September 20, 2026.
Created by Bulgari to coincide with the "Serpenti Infinito" exhibition in New York, "auruBOROS" is a large-scale public installation made of a spiraling, air-inflated gold-colored form that rises up from beneath The Standard hotel. Both sculpture and an unconventional piece of architecture, the monument-like work gives shape to the pressures and rhythms hidden within the city.
"auruBOROS" is the latest project in the global journey of the "Serpenti Infinito" exhibition, which began in Shanghai in 2023 and continued to Seoul and Mumbai in 2025. Each exhibition has reconsidered, for a new city and audience, how a single symbol travels across cultures and is interpreted and transformed. Plastique Fantastique — the duo of artists Marco Canevacci and Yena Young — is known for immersive spatial works that blur the boundary between built environments and imagined landscapes, and here that sensibility is turned toward New York itself.

Inspired by alchemy's view of gold as a material of transformation, "auruBOROS" carries that logic forward. The surface and scale of the work reflect the dynamic character of the city, allowing viewers to experience both the city and themselves from a new perspective. On view from September 10 to 20, "auruBOROS" celebrates the boundless inspiration of the legendary Serpenti icon and the transformative power of art.
Alongside the installation, Bulgari is also presenting high jewelry that interprets New York's artistic history through the language of Serpenti. Three new pieces from the Serpenti Tubogas collection and an exclusive Minaudière from the high-end accessories line make their world debut, arriving in select boutiques from September.
Serpenti Creations
Five Serpenti high jewelry masterpieces created to mark "Serpenti Infinito New York" pay tribute to America's legacy. Spanning painting, sculpture, and architecture, each creation expresses the vision of some of America's most influential creators and movements through the language of Bulgari high jewelry.
The Serpenti Falling Drops high jewelry necklace, evoking the spontaneous brushwork of American painter Jackson Pollock's drip paintings, translates color into movement. The 18K white gold and diamond serpent is set with a detachable drop-shaped gemstone — either a 25.76-carat triangle-cut amethyst or a 23.13-carat triangle-cut aquamarine — its brilliant light expressing, through gemstones, the freedom found in the artist's creative gestures.
The Serpenti Flag necklace and matching bracelet, inspired by American painter Jasper Johns's celebrated interpretations of the Stars and Stripes, reinterpret its striking palette into a bold high jewelry composition. Set throughout in 18K rose gold, tanzanite, coral, and diamonds render the blues, reds, and whites, evoking the flag while arriving at an entirely new sensibility. The necklace is set with an 18.75-carat pear-shaped tanzanite, while the bracelet combines coral elements, sugarloaf-cut tanzanite, onyx, pavé diamonds, and a 13.79-carat pear-shaped tanzanite.
The Serpenti Ocean Deco high jewelry necklace draws on the bold geometry and colorful spirit of Art Deco architecture along Miami's waterfront. The serpent's head and tail, crafted in 18K pink gold, beautifully frame a vivid 17.98-carat cushion-cut rubellite. Architecture and jewelry come together in a composition shaped by contrast, symmetry, and movement.
The Serpenti Helix necklace, an homage to the ascending spiral of New York's Guggenheim Museum, captures architectural movement through avant-garde high jewelry craftsmanship. A diamond-set white gold serpent winds around an 18K yellow gold Tubogas choker, its fluid silhouette forming the symbol of infinity. A detachable 5.46-carat pear-shaped Tanzanian spinel on the serpent's head provides a striking focal point of color, and the piece can be worn in two ways.
Three new Serpenti Tubogas pieces, unveiled here for the first time, further enrich one of Bulgari's most iconic aesthetic signatures. Completing the pairing of the existing yellow gold necklace and ring, the new designs merge Serpenti's allure with the Maison's historic Tubogas craftsmanship, reinterpreted in a contemporary language — the result is a creation deeply rooted in the Maison's history yet resonant with a modern vision. The single bracelet wraps the wrist like a second skin, its supple, solder-free coil tipped with a pavé-diamond head and tail. The Serpenti Tubogas earrings offer a contemporary take on the iconic Serpenti head, accented with pavé diamonds, while a fluid brooch completes the trio, its graceful silhouette brought to life with pavé diamonds. Hand-finished onyx eyes recreate Serpenti's unmistakably captivating gaze, heightening the magnetic appeal of the creations. Rolling out worldwide at select Bulgari boutiques from September 2026, the trio expands the Serpenti Tubogas signature design further.
The Serpenti Minaudière, blurring the line between jewelry, leather goods, and objets d'art, reinterprets the iconic Serpenti head as a striking high-accessory creation, playing with scale and proportion. Born from Bulgari's first collaboration with Mary Katrantzou in 2021 and inspired by the 1968 Serpenti Harlequin watch, this Minaudière honors the charm of its namesake while faithfully recreating Serpenti's iconic scales. Meticulous hand enameling and engraving in black, Smeraldo Prezioso (Italian for "precious emerald"), Ferroza Turquoise, Royal Ruby, and Flash Diamond hues recall the vivid palette and exceptional craftsmanship of the original timepiece.
Suspended from an elegant cobra chain, the Minaudière is further enhanced by crystal-set eyes that bring the serpent to life. A closure inspired by the secret-watch mechanism of the 1950s masterpiece Serpenti Misteriosi elevates its ingenious construction into a refined detail, seamlessly blending function with its distinctive craftsmanship.
