Starting Saturday, August 1, the shop introduces the "Fresh Butter Sandwich – Fromage & Shine Muscat (limited quantity)," which sandwiches a cream cheese butter cream and Shine Muscat grapes between cookies made with domestic fermented butter. The shop also carries cookie tins and assorted baked-goods gift boxes suited to summer gifts and homecoming souvenirs, and from Saturday, August 15, a chilled Lemon Madeleine joins the lineup.

Alongside its baked goods, Buttery Honten also sells cakes made with seasonal fruit in limited quantities. This summer's new item sandwiches a generous amount of the shop's signature butter cream, fresh Shine Muscat grapes, and genoise sponge between two cookies made with domestic fermented butter. The butter cream blends Hokkaido butter with cream cheese, balancing the richness of the butter with the cream cheese's bright tang, resulting in a chilled butter sweet suited to summer.
Lemon Madeleine, Arriving August 15
From Saturday, August 15, the shop adds a Lemon Madeleine made with Hokkaido butter, lemon peel, and lemon juice. Finished with an icing coating, the madeleine is meant to be enjoyed chilled.
