DAZBEE Releases New Single "Goodnight, Lucy," First Since 2025 Album "Nostalzia"

"Goodnight, Lucy" was composed by issey (弌誠), who drew attention for "Moe Chakka Fire," an image song for a character in the game Zenless Zone Zero. The track marks DAZBEE's first new single since the release of the second full album Nostalzia in 2025.

The track is an Alternative Pop song marked by cool, resonant percussion and a dreamlike sound. Built around a pop melody, it carries a dark, otherworldly mood that brings a cooling sense of relief from the summer heat.

Set in the fantastical world of "the moon," "Goodnight, Lucy" traces how admiration for someone can gradually turn into obsession. The wish to become like that person slowly hardens into a compulsion to become like them, and along the way, one's true self begins to lose its shape.

The song's central images — duplication and the doppelganger — symbolically capture this shift. DAZBEE's delicate vocals bring these emotions into sharper focus, and layered over the cold, dreamlike sound, they complete the song's cool, wintry mood.
