Development Inspired by a Female Employee's Severe Allergy Struggles

The development of the Dear me "Protein Cube" began with the concerns of a single female employee. She had been living with food allergies since she could remember. The symptoms particularly affected her skin severely, leading to painful experiences where she couldn't wear certain clothes. There were times when her weight dropped significantly because there were so few foods she could eat despite wanting to.

She wanted to create something "trustworthy and delicious." This began the journey toward commercialization.

After facing numerous obstacles over a span of 5 years from concept to development, driven by the conviction to "carefully select essential raw materials for the body" and "commit to nutritional quality," they meticulously built up every aspect from ingredient selection to manufacturing methods. They even invested tens of millions of yen to establish a completely clean room and obtained JFS-B certification (HACCP) to ensure thorough food safety and hygiene management.

All of this was for a gentle bite that protects someone's "self."

Brand Message

"Dear me / Re:Life food" is a brand designed to remind all women who have made "striving" part of their daily routine to remember to "care for themselves." Taking a moment in daily life to pause briefly and have time to be kind to oneself.

This message is conveyed through food. Re:Life food was born from the belief that "organizing one's diet is organizing one's way of life," representing a new form of food.

The brand's first step, launching on January 20th, 2026, is the "Protein Cube® [Non-Heated Manufacturing] (Protein Bar®)".

Gluten-free, fragrance-free, with the gentle sweetness of agave syrup. The simple flavors of cocoa and kinako (roasted soybean flour) create comforting moments. One pack (3 pieces) provides an average of 8.7g of protein, 3.9g of dietary fiber, and 32mg of magnesium, making it easy to supplement nutrition as an addition to a busy morning or as a snack when hunger strikes. By committing to non-heated manufacturing, the original flavors and nutrients of the ingredients are preserved. A "bite" that is gentle on the body and kind to the heart. CEO: Hiromasa Sano

Born in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture.

After graduating from university, he joined Daiwa Kosho Lease (now part of Daiwa House Group). Following his experience during the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, he joined the family business "Baikado Shigyo." Upon his father's sudden passing, he became president in 2007, just before the Lehman Shock. Determined to learn about management, he decided to pursue an MBA and studied at Globis Management School in 2013. At Baikado Shigyo Co., Ltd., he leads multifaceted expansion into logistics, disaster prevention, food, and design fields. With a corporate culture driven by "excitement, fun, and doing what no one else does," filled with curiosity and growth ambition, he wields the company's strengths of "adaptability to change, involvement capacity, and vitality" as a 100-year enterprise. As the fourth-generation CEO of Baikado Shigyo Co., Ltd., he leads the business. Additionally, as a physique competitor, he personally engages in food studies and in-house protein bar manufacturing.
