Excelsior Caffè Launches "Milce" Frozen Drink Made with Premium Hokkaido Milk Starting May 21

Excelsior Caffè is rolling out a new frozen drink series called "Milce" starting May 21, 2026 (Thursday). The drinks are crafted using Hokkaido Konsen Milk — whole milk sourced 100% from the Nemuro and Kushiro regions of Hokkaido — the same milk used in the café's café lattes. The name "Milce" is a blend of "milk" and "dolce" (the Italian word for sweet).

On the same day, a new dessert — the White Peach Cheese Tart with Raspberry Sauce — also joins the menu.

The original Milce features a snow-white appearance and four distinct layers: vanilla frozen, milk agar, rare cheese sauce, and yogurt whipped cream. Each layer offers a different flavor and texture as you sip through them. Feuilletine (finely crushed thin crêpe wafers) is sprinkled on top for an added crunch. The drink can be enjoyed layer by layer, or all mixed together for a smooth, refreshing milky flavor.

The Milce Espresso pairs the gentle milkiness of the original Milce with a shot of aromatic espresso for a subtle bitterness, finished with a dusting of cappuccino powder on top. It's inspired by the flavor profile of a classic café latte.

The Milce Matcha combines the soft milk flavor with richly fragrant matcha, topped with matcha powder. The result is a balanced drink where the creaminess and slight bitterness of the matcha complement each other.

White Peach Cheese Tart with Raspberry Sauce — ¥630 (tax included)

Also launching on May 21 is the White Peach Cheese Tart with Raspberry Sauce. A golden tart shell is filled with a smooth baked cheesecake made with condensed milk. White peach jam adds a fruity accent, and whipped cream wraps the whole thing in a soft finish. A separate raspberry sauce comes on the side — drizzle it on for a touch of tartness and a new dimension of flavor.

Note: The Apricot Fromage Tart with Pink Salt will end on May 20 (Wednesday).

Bonus Points Campaign

From May 21 (Thursday) to May 24 (Sunday), customers who purchase any Milce variety using a Doutor Value Card will earn 30 bonus points per drink (3 new-product points × 10x multiplier).
