Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi Unveils Valentine's Day Cacao Delights

Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi (Location: Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; General Manager: Woody Rao) has launched a collection of Valentine's Day sweets created by Executive Pastry Chef Michele Abbatemarco, featuring cacao-inspired treats perfect for the season of love.

The hotel is also offering several romantic plans designed to create special moments with loved ones during the winter Valentine's season.

Four Seasons Hotel is ready to help make this once-a-year special day a memorable celebration of love.

Cacao Leaf

Executive Pastry Chef Michele Abbatemarco presents a sublime taste experience that transports you to a state of bliss through the allure of cacao. The creation beautifully captures the essence of "cacao fruit and leaves" that connect earth and sky.

Cacao Leaf dessert

Returning to the origins of cacao, this piece purely expresses its aroma and vitality.

Shaped like cacao leaves reflecting nature's elegant color gradations, and featuring cacao fruits where delicacy and strength resonate together, guests can experience the rich harmony of cacao.

Four varieties of organic single-origin cacao from the rich lands of Ecuador and the Dominican Republic. The layered chocolate mousse and rich chocolat cream blessed by these treasures allow you to feel the deep aftertaste of pure cacao as it permeates your senses. The fragrant aroma of Armagnac gently tickles the nose, intertwining with that aftertaste to invite you into an enchanting world of cacao. This is truly a masterpiece dessert.

The aroma and taste of this cacao are born from the fertile earth and the blessing of the sun

All ingredients in this Cacao Leaf are carefully selected for being organic and fair trade, contributing to producer support and environmental conservation at the production sites.

"Quality ingredients are essential for creating works that resonate with the heart. I want to make every effort toward building a sustainable environment." Michele's thoughts, along with deep respect for nature and producers, breathe life into this creation.

Chocolate Terrine

Chocolate Terrine

A premium chocolate terrine in a charming size, where each bite delivers deep richness and a lingering taste of intense chocolate.

Layers of rich chocolate ganache, apricot confiture, and chocolate sponge soaked generously with whiskey.

Bonbon Japonais Debut

For art-loving Chef Michele, each bonbon is a "color palette"

Bonbon Japonais box

Mirin, amazake, miso, sansho pepper, Japanese tea—ingredients long cherished in Japan meet chocolate and are reborn as adorable bonbons.

When you taste one, a deep and soft flavor spreads, somehow nostalgic. The unexpected combination created by layering with chocolate quietly reveals the undiscovered charm and possibilities of chocolate.

The clear aqua blue box evokes the vast seas embracing Japan, the deep forests, and the pure water springing from the blessings of this great nature. Inside, bonbons capture and gently enclose the bountiful gifts of nature and the beautiful landscapes that change with the four seasons.

Each bite brings discovery and surprise—a new chocolate experience to enjoy with all five senses, recommended as a gift for the discerning.

Gateau Bouquet

Radiance like a bouquet from the moment you open the box to the last bite

Gateau Bouquet cake

Give the joy and surprise of receiving a gorgeous bouquet. The lustrous strawberry glacage adorned with ruby-like raspberries and elegant rose petals—it truly is a lovely bouquet.

After the gentle vanilla sweetness, the aroma of limoncello hidden in the moist sponge and the elegant acidity of fraise des bois (wild strawberries) overlap. The fragrant rose scent envelops everything, filling your heart with each bite and delivering an elegant moment.

A luxurious and elegant bouquet cake worthy of a special day, shining like a bouquet from the moment you open it to the last bite.
