Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi Serves a Festive Afternoon Tea Inspired by Northern European Christmas

THE LOUNGE at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) has opened reservations, starting October 1 (Thursday), 2026, for its Christmas-themed festive afternoon tea.

A Festive Afternoon Tea with a Northern European Christmas Spirit

Created by Executive Pastry Chef Michele Abbatemarco and his pastry team, the festive afternoon tea begins on November 16 (Monday), 2026, and is filled with the colors of the holiday season.

The sweets are playful creations centered on Italy, where Michele spent his childhood, and inspired by Christmas in Northern Europe. Christmas staples from around Europe are also on the menu, including pandoro, a regional Italian confection, and Kipferl, a traditional Austrian pastry.

The savories come in Christmas colors, with delicate dishes such as a foie gras tartlet and a beef braise pie that capture the joy of the holiday season.

The tea is meant to feel like a visit to Christmas in Northern Europe without leaving Tokyo, with a warm and nostalgic atmosphere.

In addition, from November 26 (Thursday), the hotel will be decorated with Christmas sparkle throughout, so guests can enjoy the festive season at THE LOUNGE.

Festive-Exclusive Drinks

Scarlet Berry tea mocktails and Chai de Noël

Scarlet Berry (Earl Grey, Bergamot, Strawberry Purée, Lemon Juice)

A special tea mocktail that expresses the sparkle of the holiday season. Built around the rich aroma of bergamot, it blends the fresh sweet-tartness of strawberry with the crisp acidity of lemon. It is refreshing to drink, with an elegant finish.

Chai de Noël (Chai, Milk, Kuromitsu, Cinnamon Sugar)

A heartwarming cup that captures the essence of winter. The deep sweetness of kuromitsu (Japanese black sugar syrup) is balanced with the refined aroma of cinnamon. The rich fragrance that drifts through the nose adds to the festive mood of a special day.
