Mondelez Japan is launching a limited-edition Hello Kitty collaboration product under its cracker brand Ritz. The "Ritz Hello Kitty Family Pack Choco Sandwich 7-Bag Set" will be available nationwide starting April 6, 2026.
A Sweet and Savory Collaboration
Ritz currently holds the No. 1 position in cracker sales in Japan (Intage SRI+, cracker market, cumulative sales value from January 2024 to December 2025). Among its lineup, the Ritz Sandwich series — featuring crispy crackers sandwiched with smooth cream — has been gaining growing popularity in recent years.

This limited-edition product pairs the Ritz Choco Sandwich — known for its sweet and savory combination of roasted crackers and chocolate cream — with Hello Kitty, the beloved Sanrio character loved across generations and around the world.
The package features an original Hello Kitty illustration created exclusively for Ritz, designed to bring a sense of excitement every time it's picked up.
Three Random Wrapper Designs to Collect
The individual packaging comes in three different designs, and seven individually wrapped packs (each containing three crackers) are bundled together in a family pack format — convenient for a quick snack or on-the-go eating.

The three individual wrapper designs are randomly inserted, so which design appears is a surprise until each pack is opened. Each opening reveals Hello Kitty in a different expression or pose, adding an element of fun and shareability. The varied designs also naturally spark conversation — "Which one did you get?" — making it enjoyable whether shared with family and friends or savored solo.


In-store POP displays featuring the Ritz Choco Sandwich × Hello Kitty collaboration will also appear at retail locations.
