Michelin Guide and Gault&Millau-Listed Restaurants Host Sake and Cuisine Collaboration in Tokyo, Fukushima, and Kansai
The "FUKUSHIMA SAKE SEVEN" fair showcases diverse sake production from Fukushima Prefecture through collaborations between chefs across the country and seven notable sake producers from the region. Initially launched in November 2025, the fair enters full operation in January 2026 with 15 participating restaurants in Tokyo, Fukushima, and Kansai, plus special events in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. The fair presents pairings of cuisine and sake to highlight Fukushima's current production landscape.

About FUKUSHIMA SAKE SEVEN
Fukushima Prefecture, known as a major sake production region in Japan, has seen diverse brewing developments in recent years, with distinctive breweries and distilleries emerging. To introduce these new developments in Fukushima's alcoholic beverage production to restaurants and consumers, seven sake producers have been selected as "FUKUSHIMA SAKE SEVEN." The fair introduces their products to restaurants in Fukushima, Tokyo, and Kansai, where diners can enjoy them paired with cuisine.
This year's lineup includes sake, wine, craft sake, craft beer, and craft gin. Dishes incorporate Fukushima ingredients where possible, creating pairings that express regional terroir.
