Garden Dining, the bright, open buffet restaurant on the first floor of Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba, will hold a limited-time "Hokkaido Fair" from July 3 (Friday) to September 27 (Sunday), 2026. The event runs on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, and brings together the diverse food culture of Hokkaido in a buffet format.


The menu spans Hokkaido's regional specialties. Served one plate per person, "Grilled Hokkaido Scallop in Shell, Butter Soy Style" showcases the rich umami of Hokkaido scallops alongside the appetizing fragrance of butter and soy sauce. The chef-served "Hokkaido Wagyu Roast Beef" draws out the deep flavor of lean cuts through careful cooking. Guests can also compose their own bowls at the "Kattedon" station — a Kushiro specialty where toppings are chosen and assembled by the diner — or enjoy "Sapporo Soup Curry" and "Hokkaido Ramen" in two styles: Sapporo miso and Asahikawa soy sauce.
"Hokkaido Vegetable Cheese Fondue" pairs the sweetness of locally grown vegetables with the richness of cheese for a satisfying combination.
The dessert lineup includes "Caramel Cheesecake" made with Hokkaido cream cheese, "Tiramisu" using Hokkaido mascarpone for a light, melt-in-the-mouth finish, and "Haskap Berry Pound Cake" featuring Hokkaido's native haskap berry — a selection of sweets to round out the experience.
