A new Hokusai Graphic store is set to open in the Enoshima area of Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture, in early July 2026. Operated by Wagokoro Co., Ltd. — a company that runs multiple shops nationwide offering items such as kanzashi (hair ornaments), Japanese-pattern umbrellas, and chopsticks — this will be the brand's first store in the Shonan/Enoshima area, serving as a new showcase for the brand at a seaside tourist destination.
Background: First Store in the Shonan/Enoshima Area
Hokusai Graphic has expanded primarily to areas where Japanese culture and tourism intersect, including Asakusa, Kamakura, Kyoto, and Kanazawa.
Enoshima, the newly selected location, is one of the premier tourist destinations in the Shonan region, drawing visitors from both Japan and abroad throughout the year. It boasts a unique charm where Japanese tradition and resort culture coexist — from Enoshima Shrine and the seaside scenery to street food culture and a retro townscape.
In recent years, demand for "experiential tourism centered on Japanese culture" has been growing, particularly among foreign visitors to Japan, and interest in Japanese-pattern and traditional designs has also expanded.

Store Concept
The new store will offer a space where visitors can immerse themselves in the world of Hokusai Graphic, inviting them to discover the joy of incorporating Japan's traditional beauty and Japanese-pattern culture into modern lifestyles.
The store will carry an extensive lineup of original design products inspired by Japan's four seasons, nature, and ukiyo-e woodblock prints, centered on the brand's signature Japanese-pattern umbrellas, folding umbrellas, and all-weather parasols. The bold graphics incorporating the worldview of Katsushika Hokusai have proven popular not only as tourist souvenirs but also as everyday fashion accessories.
The store is also planned with eye-catching interior design intended to draw visitors in during a stroll around Enoshima or a trip to the broader Shonan area.

What Makes the Enoshima Location Unique
Enoshima is a tourist area that attracts a wide range of visitors, including young couples, families, and international tourists.
Demand for parasols and all-weather umbrellas is particularly high during the summer season, and the affinity between a seaside town and Japanese-pattern umbrellas is considered very strong.
The new store aims to offer the following:
- An authentic "Japanese cultural experience" unique to a tourist destination
- Japanese-pattern fashion proposals suited to Shonan sightseeing
- An introduction to Japanese culture for inbound visitors
- A celebration of Japanese-pattern umbrella culture in a seaside setting

Future Plans
Wagokoro Co., Ltd. plans to continue expanding its Japan culture-focused brand presence to tourist destinations across the country. Through Hokusai Graphic, the company aims to make Japan's traditional designs and Japanese-pattern culture more accessible and to share the appeal of Japanese culture both domestically and internationally.

The official opening date and further store details will be announced once confirmed.
