Hotel Kanazawa Launches Summer Stay Plan with "金鼓〈KONKU〉" Afternoon Tea

Hotel Kanazawa (1-1 Horikawa-shinmachi, Kanazawa, Ishikawa; General Manager: Kazuo Kojima), known for its cuisine crafted from seasonal ingredients, has opened reservations for a summer-limited stay plan that combines the "ホカンス" (hotel + vacation) experience with its exclusive afternoon tea "金鼓〈KONKU〉" and breakfast.

A Luxurious "Summer Hokansu" to Soothe Early-Summer Fatigue

As more people experience summer fatigue even from the early weeks of the season, the travel trend has shifted toward "ホカンス" — enjoying the hotel itself as a destination rather than rushing between sightseeing spots.

This summer, Hotel Kanazawa has crafted an afternoon tea menu designed to refresh mind and body, featuring the bright acidity of lemon, the gentle sweetness of honey, and the juicy flavor of in-season peaches. Local ingredients such as Ishikawa Prefecture honey are used throughout, inviting guests to rediscover the richness of regional flavors.

The plan allows guests to savor fine dining at their own pace in a cool, refined hotel setting. A welcome drink of "yuzu mitsu soda" kicks off this special experience — and Kanazawa sends its support for getting through the summer with energy and a smile.

Sweets Collection — 7 Items

Seven sweets grace the early-summer menu. The star of the lineup is the "Peach Compote Tart," with compote arranged in a beautiful rose shape that delights both the eyes and the palate. Other highlights include "White Peach Mousse with Lychee Fragrance," "Honey Panna Cotta with White Peach Jelly" made with Ishikawa honey, and a refreshing "Honey Lemon Rare Cheesecake," all showcasing the delicate harmony of in-season peaches, lemon, and honey.
