Hotel Kanazawa Launches "Aromatic Spring" Afternoon Tea Stay Plan for Spring 2026

Hotel Kanazawa in Ishikawa Prefecture has launched a limited spring stay plan that pairs an overnight stay with the hotel's new afternoon tea menu, "Aromatic Spring," plus breakfast. The plan is designed for guests looking to escape crowded tourist spots and enjoy a relaxed, premium experience without leaving the hotel — a style of travel often called "hokance" (a blend of "hotel" and "vacation").

Strawberries Meet Spices: A New Kind of Tea Time

The theme for this spring's afternoon tea is "adult playfulness." Strawberries, the signature ingredient of the season, are paired with spices and herbs such as cardamom, cinnamon, and basil to bring out the flavors in unexpected ways. The result is a tea time that engages all five senses through both delicate appearances and aromatic complexity.
