Hyatt Centric Kanazawa Serves Up a Peach & Noto Blueberry Summer Afternoon Tea

FIVE – Grill & Lounge, the all-day dining restaurant on the third floor of Hyatt Centric Kanazawa, is running a "Peach and Blueberry Summer Afternoon Tea" from July 1 (Wednesday) through August 31 (Monday), 2026. The seasonal set puts two fruits center stage: sweet, juicy peaches and premium large-grain blueberries sourced directly from Hiramiyuki Farm in Noto-machi, Ishikawa Prefecture.

The full set includes 10 items across sweets and savory dishes, with an optional special drink available for an additional charge.

Peach Melba
White wine-poached peach is served alongside a clear jelly and vanilla ice cream. A raspberry sauce poured beneath the ice cream adds a sweet-tart accent to the whole dish.

Blueberry Cheesecake
Whole blueberries and crumble are baked together into the cheesecake. The heat intensifies the blueberries' fruitiness, pairing it with a crisp texture and the aroma of cheese.

Blueberry Tart
Layers of cream blended with Hiramiyuki Farm's special confiture and rich custard are topped with fresh blueberries. The balanced sweetness and acidity let the blueberry flavor spread across the palate.

Peach Roll Cake
A light sponge roll is generously topped with peaches marinated in syrup and lemon. Its delicate form and gentle color make it as pleasing to look at as to eat.

Blueberry Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich
A vivid purple parfait is sandwiched between marbled cookies. The cool creaminess of the ice cream carries a concentrated burst of fruit flavor.

Greek Yogurt with Earl Grey-Marinated Peach
Peach marinated in Earl Grey is paired with homemade fruit granola and thick Greek yogurt. The creamy yogurt and crunchy granola create an addictive combination.

Blueberries and cream cheese are kneaded into the dough before baking, with black pepper adding a refined savory-sweet balance. Good on its own, or paired with the accompanying cheese.

UCHINADA CHEESE with Hiramiyuki Farm Blueberry Confiture and Kanazawa Gold Leaf
Light, fresh UCHINADA CHEESE from Uchinada-machi, Ishikawa, is topped with blueberry confiture, accented with Noto salt, and finished with Kanazawa gold leaf for a luxurious presentation.

Noto Hibakara Bakery Campagne with Peach Sauce and Duck Pastrami
Campagne from a local Noto bakery is paired with spiced duck meat and a fragrant peach sauce. The tangy, aromatic bread harmonizes with the spice and gentle fruitiness of the peach.

Capellini with Peach and Jamón Serrano (pictured right)
A chef-crafted chilled pasta where the subtle sweetness of peach gives way to the refined saltiness of Jamón Serrano — refreshing and elegant.

Special Drink

Peach Frost
A frozen mocktail capturing the juiciness of peach in a smooth, cool, and lingering sip.
