Hotel Kintetsu Universal City (located at 6-2-68 Shimaya, Konohana-ku, Osaka City), an official hotel of Universal Studios Japan, will hold the "Spring Gourmet Fair" from Sunday, March 1 to Wednesday, May 6 (compensatory holiday), 2026.
The live kitchen features the ever-popular "Teppanyaki Domestic Beef," along with three varieties of pasta including tomato and cream-based options, and "Omurice with Demiglace Sauce" topped with fluffy eggs. Guests can enjoy freshly prepared dishes along with the sights and aromas unique to the live kitchen experience.
The dessert corner showcases seasonal strawberry treats including "Mille Crepes," "Roll Cake," and "Sweet Potato" that guests can customize to their preferred sweetness by mixing in sweet potato.
Additionally, during the Golden Week period from Wednesday, April 29 (public holiday) to Wednesday, May 6 (compensatory holiday), special menu items will be added to the regular buffet offerings, including Osaka's famous "Kushikatsu" (deep-fried skewers) and "Nigiri Sushi."

Starting with the "Porcini Mushroom Cream Pasta" that showcases the rich, fragrant aroma of porcini mushrooms, the menu includes "Manila Clams and Aonori Pasta," where the seafood umami-rich clams are paired with aromatic aonori seaweed, creating a dish where the broth flavor stands out.
Additionally, the lineup includes "Salmon and Grilled Vegetables Tomato Sauce Pasta," featuring tender grilled salmon and grilled vegetables finished with a refreshing tomato sauce.

Spring Strawberry Sweets - Sweet and Tart Delights
The dessert corner features colorful strawberry sweets made with seasonal strawberries.
The selection includes "Strawberry Mille Crepes" with multiple layers of moist crepe batter, "Strawberry Roll Cake" with light sponge and smooth cream spreading strawberry flavor, and "Whole Strawberry Jelly" that captures fresh strawberries in a visually charming presentation, offering sweets that brighten up tea time.
Furthermore, the popular soft-serve ice cream corner will feature "Amaou" strawberries as a seasonal limited flavor. Combine it with strawberry sweets to enjoy the unique tastes of spring.
HAPPY Sweets and Drinks That Bring Smiles
March 8 marks International Women's Day, a day to consider women's lifestyles. It's a day for people of all genders to think about gender equality and take action.
Hotel Kintetsu Universal City offers limited-time menu items (March 1 to March 31) incorporating the symbolic Happy Yellow color, wishing happiness for all.
The dessert corner features "HAPPY YELLOW Baked Donuts" with a slightly toasted, moist texture. The happy yellow chocolate brightens up tea time.
For drinks, two varieties are available: the "HAPPY YELLOW Passion" cocktail (¥800) featuring the refreshing taste of passion fruit, and the "HAPPY YELLOW Squash" non-alcoholic cocktail (¥650) combining orange acidity with cassis sweetness.
Osaka's Famous "Kushikatsu" - Freshly Fried
During the special period from Wednesday, April 29 (public holiday) to Wednesday, May 6 (compensatory holiday), "Kushikatsu" will appear at the live kitchen.
The lineup includes plump and popular "Shrimp," elegant and refined "Monkfish," crisp and sticky-textured "Okra," and "Mochi" (rice cake) that becomes fragrant with a stretchy texture when fried.
Enjoy the freshly fried, crispy battered kushikatsu with plenty of sauce, savoring the deliciousness unique to made-to-order preparation.
