Grand Prince Hotel Osaka Bay (Suminoe-ku, Osaka), an urban resort hotel situated in the Osaka Bay area, is hosting a limited-time meat-themed gourmet fair at its buffet restaurant The Cafe (1F). Running from July 14 (Tuesday) to September 3 (Thursday), 2026, the event is titled "THE MEAT FES. BUFFET! SUMMER RECHARGE" and centers on a line-up of meat dishes designed to help guests recharge during the summer heat.

A wide selection of beef, pork, chicken, and lamb preparations is on offer, cooked in a variety of styles.

This buffet is built around the idea of "boosting vitality through eating (RECHARGE)." The menu spans summer-vegetable starters, appetite-stimulating teppanyaki, and — for dinner — full-scale roasted meats. Selected highlights are introduced below.

Roasted Lamb with Rosemary

Juicy roasted lamb finished with the fresh fragrance of rosemary. Dinner only.

Gyumabushi (Beef Mabushi)

A generous serving of richly flavoured beef, enjoyed hitsu-mabushi style: first on its own, then with dashi poured over to finish as a sort of tea-broth rice. Dinner only.

Marinated Beef Teppanyaki Style

Tender, marinated beef grilled on an iron plate and served with a choice of three sauces to suit individual tastes.

Pork and Vegetable Agrodolce with Balsamic

A sweet-and-sour (agrodolce) Italian-inspired pork dish that remains appetizing even on hot summer days.

Saliva Chicken (よだれ鶏)

Lean chicken breast, slow-cooked at low temperature and served with a spicy sauce and crisp warm vegetables for a refreshing finish.

Summer Sweets to Cool Things Down

The dessert selection includes a Banana Tart with a rich, deep sweetness; a Watermelon Jelly that captures the fresh juiciness of the season; and a smooth Mango Pudding.
