Grand Prince Hotel Osaka Bay, an urban resort hotel located in the Osaka Bay area (1-13-11 Nanko Kita, Suminoe-ku, Osaka City; General Manager: Mitsuru Itabashi), will host the "Sakura Glamping Buffet" at the buffet restaurant "The Cafe" (1st floor) for approximately three months, from March 2, 2026 (Monday) to May 31, 2026 (Sunday).
Spring is a season filled with joyful celebrations like school enrollments and job starts. To enjoy a luxurious cherry blossom viewing experience indoors without worrying about the weather, the hotel offers a new culinary journey in a bright, open space surrounded by cherry blossom decorations, where wild camp-style cooking meets hotel-made bistro French cuisine.
Four Highlights of the "Sakura Glamping Buffet"
① Live Outdoor Cooking & Campfire-Style Desserts
Chefs slice roast beef right before your eyes and generously pour hot, melted raclette cheese from a giant wheel using a special heater. The dish is then served in a skillet (a thick, small cast-iron frying pan), an essential tool for outdoor scenes, allowing you to fully enjoy the outdoor atmosphere with all five senses.


The dessert corner features camping classics like roasted marshmallows and Pomme Rôti (whole roasted apples that bring out the natural sweetness of the fruit). The excitement of glamping continues all the way to dessert.


② Rich Lineup of Awaji Beer and Wine

Born in 1998 alongside the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, this craft beer from Awaji Island features live yeast that hasn't been heat-treated, unlike typical beers. It's slowly fermented and aged while surrounded by the sounds of the island's ocean. This beer, beloved on Awaji Island where glamping sites have been opening in recent years, is available as an à la carte drink.
③ Bistro French Menu Perfect for Special Occasions
In addition to outdoor-style dishes, the buffet includes French menu items that showcase the hotel's culinary expertise.

④ Wicked: For Good Collaboration Menu (March 6 Release)
To commemorate the release of the film "Wicked: For Good," the buffet offers food and sweets themed around the key colors of the two main characters, Elphaba and Glinda—green and pink. On weekdays, sweets are available, while on weekends and holidays, guests can enjoy both dishes and sweets.
