Beltempo, the dining cafe at Hotel Metropolitan Edmont in Iidabashi, Tokyo, will be serving the "Mango & Tropical Afternoon Tea Set" from Wednesday, July 1 through Wednesday, September 30, 2026. The set puts ripe mango front and center across a lineup of entirely house-made items crafted by the hotel's pastry chefs and cooks.
The Sweets Stand
Six sweets are arranged on the tiered stand, each made in-house.

Coconut Mousse — A mousse encasing a pineapple mousse layer and coconut dacquoise, decorated with a white chocolate "straw" for a summery finish.
Mango & Coconut Panna Cotta — Coconut panna cotta topped with mango sauce and fresh kiwi and mango.

Mango Tuile — A crispy cookie filled with rich mango cream and a hint of bitter orange peel.
Coconut Cake — A dense cake made with milk chocolate ganache and coconut, finished with chocolate cream and shredded coconut.
Orange Praline Choux — A choux pastry generously filled with custard, orange cream, praline ganache, and orange segments, balancing citrus acidity with the sweetness of custard.

The Scone
Mango, Ginger Peel & White Chocolate Scone — A soft-textured scone made with dried mango, fragrant ginger peel, and a gentle touch of white chocolate sweetness.

The Savories
Three savory items round out the set, balancing the sweeter courses.
Rice Croquette with Salsa Sauce — A crispy croquette made from mushroom and cheese risotto, served with a spicy salsa sauce.
Summer Vegetables and Mozzarella Cocktail — A light combination of seasonal vegetables simply dressed with salt and olive oil.

Prosciutto-Wrapped Dried Tomato Tapenade — A quinoa and vegetable salad wrapped in prosciutto, topped with toasted cheese and parsley tuile.
The Mini Parfait (Served Separately)
In addition to the tiered stand, a Mango Parfait is served on a separate plate. It layers mango pudding, coconut pudding, and a pineapple and passion fruit mousse for a tropical combination in every spoonful.

Free-Flow Drinks (Approximately 20 Options)
The set includes free-flow access to around 20 beverages, including coffee (iced/hot), teas (Darjeeling, Earl Grey, Assam), herbal teas (4 varieties), cafe au lait, cappuccino, espresso, flavored iced teas, two mocktails ("Es Blue" and "Sunset"), green tea (iced/hot), and juice. Coffee is prepared using a siphon brewer.

Beltempo is a bright, open dining cafe on the ground floor of the East Wing at Hotel Metropolitan Edmont, located a short walk from Iidabashi Station. In addition to afternoon tea, the restaurant offers a buffet of around 60 items including roast beef, sushi, and wood-fired pizza, as well as a la carte options.
