Tokyo Dome Hotel's Artist Cafe Launches a Nighttime Peach Afternoon Tea 150 Meters Above the City

Tokyo Dome Hotel's Sky Lounge & Dining "Artist Cafe," on the hotel's top floor, began serving "Night Afternoon Tea" on June 23, 2026.

The hotel's popular afternoon tea has been reimagined for the evening. Guests can take in Tokyo's glittering night skyline from 150 meters above the city while enjoying a three-tier stand of savories and desserts built around this season's peaches, alongside a chef's original Italian pasta. The experience also comes with more than 30 free-flow drinks — including sparkling wine, beer, non-alcoholic cocktails, and vinegar-based drinks — for an evening that goes beyond the classic afternoon tea format.

Menu

3-Tier Stand

Upper & Middle Tiers

A colorful lineup of savories designed to pair with drinks, including:

  • Red Paprika Mousse
  • Tuna Tartar with Caviar

...and about seven varieties in total.

Lower Tier

Four peach desserts wrapped in the sweet scent of the season's peaches — a luxurious lineup fit for a summer night.

  • Peach Shortcake — Soft sponge and light cream in harmony with richly sweet peach.
  • Peach and Raspberry Verrine — A chilled, refreshing glass dessert layering raspberry jelly with peach compote.
  • Peach and Jasmine Tea Busse — Jasmine tea-scented cream and peach compote sandwiched between light, crisp pastry.
  • Pink Macedonia Panna Cotta — A vividly colorful glass dessert with a refreshingly light flavor.

Soup

Chilled Peach Soup with Prosciutto and Burrata Cheese — A luxurious dish that draws out the melting sweetness of peach, combining the depth of a savory starter with the elegance of a dessert. Prosciutto and burrata cheese bring out the peach's freshness.

Pasta

Horse Mackerel and Fennel in White Wine Sauce, with a Light Tomato Ragu (Today's Pasta) — The main course is a chef's original Italian pasta. Horse mackerel wrapped in a fragrant white wine sauce, paired with the refreshing aroma of fennel, makes for a dish suited to a summer evening.

On introducing the first Night Afternoon Tea

"We updated our existing afternoon tea menu to match the nighttime scenery. Paired with a panoramic night view of Tokyo from 150 meters up, we wanted to offer a luxurious evening for adults that lets them forget the bustle of the city."

On combining the specialty pasta with afternoon tea

"Our biggest focus was combining the elegance of afternoon tea with our specialty Italian pasta so that both bring full satisfaction together. We built a full pasta course into the menu as the main dish, alongside sweets and savories that make generous use of seasonal peaches. This time's 'Horse Mackerel and Fennel in White Wine Sauce' is a deep, satisfying dish that brings together the refreshing character of a summer evening with the richness of white wine."

On the ideal setting to enjoy it

"We've prepared more than 30 free-flow drinks so guests can take their time enjoying their drinks alongside the meal. Whether it's a celebration, a date with someone special, or a way to end the day — we hope guests enjoy a special night together with the glittering night view."
