Hotel Okura JR Huis Ten Bosch (located at 10 Huistenbosch-cho, Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture, General Manager Kazuhiro Hirukawa) will renovate the seating configuration of Cafe Terrace "Camellia" and reopen on January 22, 2026 (Thursday).

Located with views of Huis Ten Bosch's canal and greenery, Cafe Terrace "Camellia" has been beloved by many guests as a buffet restaurant featuring a bright and spacious atmosphere created by high ceilings and large windows. While maintaining the charm of the existing space, this renovation revises the seating configuration to welcome guests more smoothly.
The renovation adds 36 new seats, creating a more accessible environment than before. New high-back sofas will be placed in the center of the hall, creating a design that emphasizes the overall spaciousness of the room. Combined with the high ceilings, the layout provides a relaxing and comfortable experience.
Renewal Campaign
To commemorate the renewal, special fairs will offer upgraded dishes on weekends and holidays (excluding lunch on February 11, Wednesday (holiday) and February 14, Saturday). During lunch, the "Western-Style Restaurant Lunch Buffet" will feature the regular lineup of "braised hamburger steak," "fluffy omurice," and "Caesar salad with cauliflower and Kyushu barley granola," plus "5 types of sushi."
At dinner, the "Nagasaki's Bounty & Winter Delicacies Dinner Buffet" features Nagasaki local dishes and regional ingredients including "Misoyogoshi," "Nagasaki Prefecture fish aburi sushi," and "Guzoni." On weekends, "shrimp tempura" and "4 types of sashimi" will be added.
Additionally, the first 1,000 guests who use lunch or dinner will receive complimentary hotel-original baked sweets. Children aged 4 to under elementary school age can enjoy the weekday lunch buffet for free. Campaigns offering chances to win hotel accommodation vouchers, pair dining tickets, and hotel-original goods are also planned.
While preserving the familiar comfort, Cafe Terrace "Camellia" has been reborn to allow more guests to share the same time and scenery. Enjoy a peaceful and relaxing moment with the restaurant's signature buffet cuisine.
