U-NEXT, a video streaming service operated by U-NEXT Inc. (headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo), will live-stream Game 3 of the Igo & Shogi Channel ALSOK Cup 75th Ōshō Match seven-game series between reigning Ōshō Sota Fujii and challenger Takuya Nagase (9-dan) on February 3-4, 2026.
The current Ōshō Match brings together two players who know each other intimately. Game 1, held at Kakegawa Castle Ninomaru Tea Room in Kakegawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture, saw Takuya Nagase claim victory in 137 moves. The following Game 2 at Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto resulted in Sota Fujii's win after 111 moves. With the series tied at 1-1, Game 3 becomes a crucial turning point that will influence the direction of the championship.
