Izu Granpal Park (伊豆ぐらんぱる公園) is opening a summer-only water play zone called "Waterland Purpuru" (ウォーターランドぷるぷる) earlier than usual this year, ahead of what is expected to be a particularly hot 2026 summer. The zone will run in the park's "Water and Adventure Plaza" (水と冒険の広場) from July 4 (Saturday) to August 31 (Monday), 2026.
Waterland Purpuru (Daytime)
The daytime area features a spacious water space with a variety of floats including slides, welcoming visitors of all ages. A rest corner with parasol-equipped tables and benches is set up within the area, providing shade from direct sunlight.

Night Purpuru (Nighttime)
From August 8 (Saturday) to August 16 (Sunday), 2026, a nighttime version called "Night Purpuru" will also be open. With illuminations reflecting across the water's surface, the zone takes on a more atmospheric, photogenic character compared to daytime, letting visitors enjoy cool summer evenings in Izu-Kogen.
