About Anna Sui
Based in New York, Anna Sui is known for her unique creations inspired by diverse cultures including vintage styles and art. In the 1970s, she was deeply involved in New York's intense underground culture scene, building important relationships in the fields of fashion, photography, art, music, and design. After studying for two years at Parsons School of Design in New York, she gained experience as a stylist and designer, starting her own collection in 1981. In 1991, she held her first runway show at New York Fashion Week. Anna Sui herself continues to present collections today, and her brand spans apparel, accessories, fragrances, and cosmetics in more than 30 countries, including the United States.
