SHIBUYA SCRAMBLE SQUARE will celebrate its 7th anniversary on November 1, 2026. To mark the occasion, the facility will hold its first event outside the building, "The Shibuya Story Collective Vol.2," on November 3, 2026 (Tuesday, national holiday) at SHIBUYA KITAYA PARK (渋谷区立北谷公園). Three shops, BRIEFING, Maker's Watch Knot, and KEY TIMEZ, are also opening. SHIBUYA SKY, which turns 7 as well, is expected to pass 10 million cumulative visitors, and a special anniversary event is planned there too.
The Shibuya Story Collective Vol.2: A ZINE-Making Event at KITAYA PARK
The first event held outside the building features five businesses and creators based in the Shibuya area. Visitors walk around the venue collecting pages they like, then bind them on the spot to make "a one-of-a-kind book of their own" in a ZINE-making experience.
The event was planned not as a simple anniversary celebration but as an opportunity to redefine the relationship between SHIBUYA SCRAMBLE SQUARE and the city of Shibuya. By stepping outside the facility for the first time and taking part in the neighborhood, SHIBUYA SCRAMBLE SQUARE aims to act as a "curator" of Shibuya, letting visitors experience the many sides of the city.
About The Shibuya Story Collective: The project started in 2025 to deepen the relationship between SHIBUYA SCRAMBLE SQUARE and the local community. It shares the many charms of Shibuya in collaboration with businesses and creators based in the area.
FOUND&BOUND, a ZINE-Making Event Exploring Shibuya's Charms
Each visitor turns materials found in Shibuya into a ZINE by binding them by hand, creating a one-of-a-kind book. Visitors collect pages made by exhibitors active in Shibuya while talking with them, and the feelings that come from experiencing their passion firsthand are bound into a single book through each visitor's own filter. The warmth that digital media cannot offer, found only in that place and at that moment, makes each person's ZINE one of a kind.

SHIBUYA SKY 10 Million Visitors Commemorative Content

SHIBUYA SKY's cumulative visitor count since opening is expected to pass 10 million soon. To commemorate the milestone, a new data-visualization video, "10,000,000 WAYS OF SEEING" (1,000万通りの、展望。), is being added to "DATASCAPE," the existing video content in the 46F indoor observation corridor "SKY GALLERY."
Based on roughly 110,000 visitor survey responses collected between April 2024 and August 2026, the video of about 90 seconds visualizes each of the 10 million visitors' own "way of seeing," such as where they came from, who they came with, why they came, how they felt, and where they will head next. Even when looking at the same view, what each person feels and imagines is different, and the video portrays each of those as "10 million ways of seeing." It is shown as part of the regular DATASCAPE programming.

- Title: 10,000,000 WAYS OF SEEING / 1,000万通りの、展望。
- Format: Data-visualization video based on visitor surveys
- Screening location: SHIBUYA SKY 46F indoor observation corridor "SKY GALLERY," within "DATASCAPE"
- Screening format: Added to the existing DATASCAPE content and shown as part of the regular program
- Screening start: October 26 (Mon), 2026 (end date to be announced)
- Admission: The video can be viewed with a SHIBUYA SKY admission ticket.
