Two new autumn doughnuts are joining JR Nagoya Takashimaya's exclusive "Krispy Kreme Premium Nagoya" series starting August 21, 2026 (Friday): Krispy Kreme Premium Nagoya Japanese Chestnut Anko Butter and Krispy Kreme Premium Nagoya Fig & Black Tea Mont Blanc, both from Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Japan and both available for a limited time.
The Krispy Kreme Premium Nagoya series consists of rich, elevated doughnuts available only at JR Nagoya Takashimaya, made fresh in-store one at a time each day.
The two new additions put the spotlight on two quintessential autumn flavors: chestnut, a signature taste of the season, and fig, an autumn favorite that Aichi Prefecture is known as one of Japan's leading producers of.
Krispy Kreme Premium Nagoya Japanese Chestnut Anko Butter is an autumn anko-butter doughnut built around a "double Japanese chestnut" concept that lets the full richness of Japanese chestnut come through. Between the soft doughnut halves, it layers a gently sweet, chestnut-flecked anko and a chestnut cream, generously sandwiched with butter. Combining two textures of Japanese chestnut that melt differently in the mouth gives the doughnut a rich, full chestnut flavor in every bite.
Krispy Kreme Premium Nagoya Fig & Black Tea Mont Blanc pairs fig, an autumn favorite in Aichi Prefecture, with fragrant black tea for a rich, Mont Blanc-style doughnut. A black tea cream made with Uva tea leaves, offering a pleasant astringency and deep richness, is piped on top in a Mont Blanc swirl, then finished with a ring of sweet-tart fig jam.
