Tachikichi Co., Ltd. (located in Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto; President: Masaaki Takano) will host an online exhibition from February 18 to March 18, 2026, in partnership with the Kyoto Ceramics Cooperative Federation (located in Yamashina Ward, Kyoto; Chairman: Hiroshi Shaku) to celebrate the federation's 50th anniversary. The exhibition, titled "Sake and Tea Vessels fired in Kyoto Climbing Kilns," will feature traditional ceramic works on the Tachikichi online shop.
This online event accompanies an exhibition held at the Kyoto Ceramics Hall, bringing Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki pottery works by Kyoto artisans to customers across Japan through online sales.

Background and Purpose
The Kyoto Ceramics Cooperative Federation, which has supported Kyoto's traditional ceramics industry for 50 years, celebrates this milestone anniversary in partnership with Tachikichi, a company with over 270 years of history in Kyoto. Together, they have launched the "Sake and Tea Vessels" project using a precious climbing kiln that still exists in Uji, Kyoto.
This exhibition showcases works created by Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki artisans under the theme of "moments of drinking," allowing visitors to enjoy the charm of vessels where traditional techniques blend with contemporary sensibilities.
