Lotte City Hotel Kinshicho's Flagship Suite Relaunches with Wa-Modern Design and Dual Landmark Views of Tokyo Skytree® and Tokyo Tower

The flagship "Towers Junior Suite Room" on the 18th and 19th floors of Lotte City Hotel Kinshicho (Sumida-ku, Tokyo) has been renovated in a wa-modern style and is accepting guests from June 1, 2026 (Monday). Reservations opened on May 25, 2026 (Monday).

To mark the renovation, a limited-time "Renovation Commemorative Monitor Plan (with breakfast, 50% off, 1 room per day)" is available from June 1 to July 31, 2026.

Positioned to reflect the shift from "seeing Japan" to "experiencing Japan," the hotel aims to connect guests — both domestic and international — with the craftsmanship and culture of East Tokyo through what it calls a "Japanese cultural experience stay."

Highlights of the Renovated Towers Junior Suite Room

The Towers Junior Suite Room is Lotte City Hotel Kinshicho's flagship accommodation, offering a special location with views of both Tokyo Skytree® and Tokyo Tower. The renovation introduces the concept "Tokyo Dual Landmark View & Relaxing Stay — Kinshiki no Toki (A Moment in Kinshicho's Scenery)," blending wa-modern aesthetics with the character of East Tokyo.

Dual Landmark Views: Tokyo Skytree® and Tokyo Tower

True to its concept, the room offers simultaneous views of Tokyo's two iconic landmarks — Tokyo Skytree® and Tokyo Tower. The streets of East Tokyo, centered on Kinshicho, spread across the wide windows. Whether relaxing on the window-side sofa or sitting at the dining table, the scenery shifts with the time of day, enhancing the overall stay.

Traditional Craftsmanship of Sumida Woven Into the Design

The interior incorporates Japanese elements throughout. The headboard features an asanoha (hemp leaf) patterned kumiko-style art panel softly lit from within. A raised tatami platform invites guests to sit and stretch out comfortably. The ceiling is decorated with handmade washi paper, and glass cups crafted by Hirota Glass — a long-established glassmaker in Sumida-ku — are placed in the room, reflecting the ward's deep tradition of skilled craftsmanship.

As a welcome sweet, guests receive either "Tarafuku Monaka" from Kashiwa (Okashiji Shirakaba), a long-established wagashi shop founded in Kinshicho, or "Hokusai-age" rice crackers from Higashi Arare Honpo, a rice cracker shop established in Ryogoku. These vary by season and are accompanied by drip bag coffee from the popular local café Sumida Coffee.

Premium Bedding for a Restful Wellness Stay

The wa-inspired space is complemented by wellness-focused bedding. The room features the top-tier "NELL Model H" mattress from Morght, a brand focused on next-generation sleep, along with down bedding (duvet and pillow) from Nishikawa, which has a 460-year history. Before bed, guests can soak in the view bath overlooking Tokyo Skytree®.

The room emphasizes heartfelt, "wa-gokoro (Japanese spirit)" hospitality, designed so that both Japanese and international guests feel welcomed and at ease throughout their stay.
