Mampei Hotel in Karuizawa will release a special Mother's Day gift set, "MAMPEI TEA TIME GIFT," on May 7, 2026 (Thu). Pre-orders are available through the hotel's official online shop starting April 16, 2026 (Thu).
The set combines two seasonal items: the "Mampei Hotel Original Herbal Tea — Harugasumi" and "Mampei Hotel Boulede Neige" in two flavors. The herbal tea features a blend of hibiscus, elderflower, and chamomile, resulting in a pink-colored brew that balances the tartness of hibiscus with the gentle sweetness of spring flowers. The tin packaging is decorated with spring floral motifs that complement the tea's character.
The boulede neige — French for "snowball" — comes in blueberry and citron varieties. The blueberry version incorporates fruit juice into the dough, while the citron version is baked with lemon peel, giving each piece a distinct fruity flavor and a light, melt-in-the-mouth texture.
