Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa, located inside Shinagawa Prince Hotel in Takanawa, Minato, Tokyo, will hold a winter event called "LittleTwinStars AQUARIUM" from Friday, November 13 through Friday, December 25, 2026. The event celebrates Christmas together with Little Twin Stars, a character from Sanrio Co., Ltd.
The aquarium has held "STAR AQUARIUM" every year during the Christmas season, and this year's edition is a collaboration with Little Twin Stars, which celebrated its 50th debut anniversary in 2025. At the entrance, "Twinkle Cloud Room," Little Twin Stars and a white Christmas tree greet visitors, while blue and pink fish swim through the tanks to build anticipation for the dreamy world ahead. Through tank exhibits and a dolphin performance that express the world of Little Twin Stars with digital technology and a variety of decorations, visitors can learn about the ecology of marine life in a fun way. The aquarium invites guests to enjoy a heartwarming Christmas inspired by Little Twin Stars.
Little Twin Stars × STAR AQUARIUM
The staging theme is "Twinkle Christmas." The aquarium is wrapped in blue and pink to create the dreamy-cute world of Little Twin Stars, a character supported by a wide range of age groups that also ranked 10th in the 2026 Sanrio Character Ranking.
Inside the facility, visitors will find a photogenic entrance where stars and the sea are connected, and an area depicting a "night-sky sea" where touching a constellation makes sea creatures start to swim. The event spans four tank areas in total, including unique animal displays reminiscent of ornaments and a fantastical jellyfish exhibit lit with soft blue and pink light. The aquarium's flagship "Dolphin Performance" will also be presented in a special version.
Full details of "LittleTwinStars AQUARIUM" are scheduled to be released in early November.

Little Twin Stars
Little Twin Stars are twin star siblings born on the Caring Star (思いやり星) in the Dream Nebula (ゆめ星雲). They came from a distant star country to become brilliantly shining stars. The older sister, Lala, is timid and a little bit of a crybaby, while the younger brother, Kiki, is full of curiosity, a little hasty, and fond of playing pranks.
