a/sym is a small flower vase combining a brass base with a glass tube. When the glass tube is placed vertically, it creates a symmetrical appearance. By gently leaning the tube against the base, it transforms into an asymmetrical expression. A single change in placement creates different impressions, allowing you to enjoy various arrangements.
The product will be available on the official online store starting Monday, February 2, 2026.

About the Design
NAGAE+ is a brand born from the context of a comprehensive manufacturing company rooted in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, where metal craftsmanship has been inherited for over 400 years.
Takaoka has long been one of Japan's leading production areas for Buddhist altar fittings, and the parent company has been responsible for creating Buddhist altar fittings to this day. The base of a/sym is a remake of a component called "nakago" (core), which has been used in the process of manufacturing flower stands in such Buddhist altar fitting production sites.
As the ways of remembering and honoring loved ones diversify, the form of Buddhist altars and fittings is also gradually changing.
From the perspective of "circulation," which is our concept, we have shed new light on materials and processes that were coming to the end of their roles, connecting them to a/sym's new appearance.
