Panasonic will release the Nano Care straightening iron EH-HN30 in early November 2026 (†). With a ceramic heater and a 3D Smooth Plate, the iron is designed to straighten hair in one stroke even at a lower temperature than the previous model (※1), while moisturizing the hair and making colored hair look beautiful.
Background
In recent years, the high-price segment of straightening irons has been growing in the hair iron market, and its share of Panasonic's hair iron sales has been rising year by year (※2). According to a Panasonic survey, the usage rate of straightening irons is high among women in their 20s and 30s, at more than half (※3). About 80% of women in that age group answered that they have colored their hair (※4). Panasonic's research also found that about 85% of straightening iron users style curls as well as straight hair (※5).
How the EH-HN30 Works
The EH-HN30 newly adopts a ceramic heater and a 3D Smooth Plate. As a result, it can straighten hair in one stroke at 160°C, lower than the 170°C of the previous model (※1).
- The ceramic heater with a built-in sensor detects the drop in plate temperature when hair is clamped and can immediately restore it to the set temperature.
- The 3D Smooth Plate moves up, down, left, and right, so it fits the hair without gaps and applies firm tension all the way to the ends.
- Because heat is applied evenly across the hair, the iron produces glossy straight hair in one stroke.
In addition to "nanoe" delivering moisture to the inside of the hair, the high straightening performance smooths the flow of the hair. Together, these help colored hair look beautiful.
The body has a slim head and a rounded design, which makes it easy to create curls as well as straight styles. One device can be used for a variety of hairstyles.
