PDAY, a service that makes trading cards, calendars, decor (wooden panels), and posters from photos starting at a single piece, is coming back to Nagoya Castle this year.
On October 10 (Sat) and 11 (Sun), 2026, PDAY will open a booth called SOCIAL PHOTO BOOTH "Castle Photo Studio + Lab" (キャッスル写真館+ラボ) at "SOCIAL CASTLE MARKET 2026," held at Nagoya Castle.
Visitors can have a commemorative photo taken with the castle's main keep (大天守閣) and golden shachihoko (金鯱) in the background, and the photo is finished on the spot as a "clear trading card," a "double-sided trading card," or a wooden photo panel, "Decor L," to take home.
Cards and panels can be made not only from photos taken at the Castle Photo Studio, but also from photos taken around the MARKET venue or favorite photos already saved on a visitor's own smartphone.
The booth turns memories of a day at Nagoya Castle from a photo into something tangible that visitors can take home on the spot.
Take a Photo With Nagoya Castle Behind You and Turn It Into an Original Trading Card
At the Castle Photo Studio, commemorative photos are taken with the castle's main keep and golden shachihoko as the backdrop.
The photo is made into a PDAY clear trading card (透明トレカ) or double-sided trading card (両面トレカ) and handed over on the spot.
Double-Sided Trading Card (両面トレカ)

A trading card that can be printed with photos or designs on both the front and the back.
It suits commemorative photos as well as photos with pets, family, or friends, and cards for oshi-katsu (fan activities).
Both card types are palm-sized, so they are easy to take home as a memento of a visit to Nagoya Castle or SOCIAL CASTLE MARKET.
Clear Trading Card (透明トレカ)

A card on which the white areas of the photo become transparent, letting the background show through.
It can be held up to the light, layered over a landscape, or slipped into a smartphone case, offering ways to enjoy it that differ from an ordinary photo print.

Cards Can Be Made From Photos Already on Your Smartphone

Visitors can also take part just by making a trading card, without having a photo taken at the Castle Photo Studio.
Photos taken while walking around SOCIAL CASTLE MARKET are welcome, as are favorite photos saved on a smartphone, such as shots with pets, family, trips, or friends.
Visitors choose a photo at the venue, place an order, and can pick it up the same day.
Taking a photo at a favorite spot found at the MARKET and turning it into a card is another way to use the service.
"Decor L" Photo Panel Is Also Finished the Same Day

For those who want to keep a photo at a larger size, PDAY's photo panel "Decor L" (デコールL) is also available.
"Decor" (デコール) combines a photo print with a thick wooden panel, making a photo item that can be displayed as it is, without a frame.
The L size is a compact size that is easy to display.
The back has a hole for hanging on a wall and a stick stand for tabletop use, so it can be displayed on a wall, a desk, or a shelf.
Panels can be made from photos taken at the Castle Photo Studio or from photos on a visitor's own smartphone.
SAKIPON's "2027 Poster Calendar" Sold at the Venue

This year, SAKIPON's "2027 Poster Calendar," created with PDAY's new "POSTER" service, will also be sold at the Castle Photo Studio booth.
It is a poster-type calendar featuring SAKIPON's illustrations for all 12 months.
It comes in two sizes, "A4" and "A3," and can be chosen with or without a photo frame.
Quantities are limited, and sales end once stock runs out.
