The Lobby Lounge at The Prince Park Tower Tokyo will serve a "Hokkaido Melon Afternoon Tea" from July 1 (Wed) to August 31 (Mon), 2026. The seasonal menu puts Hokkaido-grown melon at the forefront, pairing melon-centric sweets with savories made from Hokkaido ingredients such as Ezo deer and water octopus.
Hokkaido melon owes its rich fragrance and melt-in-the-mouth sweetness to the region's large day-to-night temperature swings. The lineup draws out that character across every course.
The centerpiece sweet is the "Shiny Melon," a vacherin of crisp meringue layered with juicy green-flesh melon. Alongside it are a fraisier with refreshing mint and a granité served with fresh melon soup to enjoy like a frozen cocktail. Other sweets include "Milky Melon," a "Melon Mint Cake," a galette bretonne, a melon mocktail, and haskap and milk-flavored scones.
On the savory side, there is a mini burger made with Hokkaido milk buns and Ezo deer pâté, a water octopus carpaccio with colorful vegetables, a vichyssoise, and a salmon gougère.
