Priced from ¥37,180 for two guests per room — including breakfast, cake, taxes, service charges, and accommodation tax — the plan is suited to train enthusiasts, families, and guests marking a special occasion.
The Riga Train Room 776 Series is a concept room immersed in the world of railways, where the stay itself becomes a memorable experience. Guests receive a Doctor Yellow-themed chocolate cake crafted by the hotel's pastry chefs — a playful homage to the legendary yellow inspection shinkansen.
The Doctor Yellow has long been cherished as a symbol of good luck, with the saying that "seeing it brings happiness." JR Tokai's 923 Series T4 set retired in January 2025, while JR West's 923 Series T5 set is expected to retire sometime after 2027, keeping the train firmly in the public eye.
The cake captures the train's signature vivid yellow body in chocolate, making it a visually striking treat that guests may find almost too beautiful to eat.
