The Westin Hotel Sendai (located in Aoba Ward, Sendai, General Manager: Kazuyuki Shimoju) will offer a limited-time cherry blossom-themed high tea called "SAKURA High Tea" from March 13 (Friday) to April 12 (Sunday), 2026.
Guests can enjoy the arrival of spring while taking in views of downtown Sendai from the high-rise location. The three-tiered box contains seven varieties of charming appetizers, including sea urchin and new onion mousse, a pink burger with crab meat and turnip, and temari sushi balls featuring sakura, roselle, and prosciutto. The main dish features tender roast beef made from Kurihara City Miyagi Prefecture black wagyu beef, served with sakura-scented cream cheese sauce and red wine reduction. The subtle cherry blossom aroma creates a dish that truly captures the essence of spring. For dessert, guests will enjoy sakura-flavored ice cream with strawberries in a millefeuille presentation. The light, elegant sweetness highlights the spring season.
