Chinese Dining Kokaku, located on the second floor of the East Wing at Sapporo Grand Hotel, is bringing back its annual Cold Noodle Fair from June 1 to August 31, 2026. This year, the event is joined by a new seasonal dessert: the Mango Shaved Ice.
Cold Noodle Fair
The Cold Noodle Fair is available at lunch only (11:30 AM to 2:30 PM last order), priced at ¥3,200 (tax and service included) — dessert and coffee are included.
The fair offers two classic dishes throughout the entire period, plus one monthly rotating special that changes each month.
Classic Menu
Gomoku Cold Noodle (Sesame or Soy Sauce Dressing)
A colorful bowl topped with jellyfish, shrimp, ham, steamed chicken, shiitake mushrooms, egg, char siu, and cucumber, served with your choice of sesame or soy sauce dressing.

Kokaku Soup Cold Noodle
Topped with fresh seafood and seasoned egg, the broth is made with niboshi (dried sardines), saba-bushi (mackerel flakes), kombu dashi, and fried onion for a rich and layered flavor.
Monthly Rotating Menu

June — Chilled Spicy and Sour Noodles
A refreshing bowl featuring shrimp, steamed chicken, dried tofu, wood ear mushrooms, cilantro, and four more ingredients for a variety of textures and flavors. The broth strikes a balance between sour and spicy notes — well-suited to early summer lunches.
July — Mouthwatering Chicken Cold Noodle
An adaptation of the classic cold starter "mouthwatering chicken," featuring low-temperature cooked chicken breast, cilantro, and cashew nuts served over cold noodles.

August — Seafood Ankake Cold Noodle
Cold noodles topped with a thickened ankake sauce loaded with shrimp, scallops, and squid, along with red-core radish, yellow carrot, and cucumber. The soy sauce base carries the aroma of Shaoxing wine.
Mango Shaved Ice (New)

The Mango Shaved Ice is a new seasonal item available during the same period. It's topped with fresh mango and pineapple, along with tapioca and coconut ice cream, and finished with Kokaku's original mango sauce and condensed milk. The combination of tropical toppings shifts in flavor as you work through the bowl.

Priced at ¥2,500 (tax and service included), or ¥2,000 for guests dining at the restaurant. Available at both lunch and dinner service.
