Sarutahiko Coffee, a specialty coffee shop founded in Ebisu, Tokyo, is marking its 15th anniversary on June 8, 2026. To celebrate the milestone, the chain is rolling out new cup designs, a revised drink menu, an anniversary blend coffee, and limited merchandise across its locations nationwide.
New Cups and Drink Menu Starting June 8

From June 8 (Monday), new cups and an updated drink menu are being introduced at most locations across Japan, with a few stores to follow at a later date. The drink menu, which previously varied by store, has been standardized across all locations — except those in the Harajuku, Todai, and Kyoto areas — making it easier for first-time visitors to navigate. Prices have also been revised to be more accessible:
- Quick Coffee (T size): ¥550
- Soy Latte: ¥650
- Honey Latte: ¥600
Details on the new cups, menus, and pricing are available at: https://brand.sarutahiko.jp/news/15th_renewal
Note: The following stores plan to introduce the changes at a later date: Nara Shika Saru Kitsune Building, Ise-no-Kuni Taki, Aqua Ignis Sendai, Kanagawa Prefectural Library, Edion Peace Wing Hiroshima, and the Special Edition Tokyo University store.
Anniversary Goods Now on Sale

Sarutahiko Coffee is also releasing a new Anniversary Blend and special merchandise to mark the occasion.
The Anniversary Blend combines coffees from Colombia, Ethiopia, and Costa Rica, creating a bright, layered fruitiness with depth and complexity that evolves over time. A Geisha variety from Panama is blended in as a finishing touch, adding a delicate floral aroma reminiscent of violets along with a long, lingering aftertaste.
Anniversary Blend

- Drip bags: ¥1,200 / 5-pack
- Drip coffee: ¥680

A Word from the Founder

Sarutahiko Coffee founder and representative Tomoyuki Otsuka shared the following message:
"Over these 15 years, we at Sarutahiko Coffee have grown step by step, always reaching a little beyond where we were before. Not too big, not too small — just steadily moving forward in our own way.
Even as we reach this milestone, the way we approach things won't change much. Not over-reaching, but never forgetting to keep reaching.
Going forward, we will continue to sincerely deliver cups of coffee that bring happiness — one cup at a time — to each customer in front of us."
